Saranno ben 15 le nazioni pronte a battersi per la conquista del titolo di “Macellai Campioni del Mondo”. Un evento in forte crescita, a netta dimostrazione della presa di posizione del Macellaio nella società Food Mondiale. Una figura sempre più indispensabile per la crescita culturale e per il mantenimento delle tradizioni gastronomiche di tutto il mondo.

Chi è Danny Johnson?

Danny Johnson è un marito, padre, imprenditore macellaio, membro e capitano della squadra dei Macellai d’America del Team USA. La sua passione per la macelleria è forte oggi come lo era 35 anni fa, quando ha iniziato a vivere tra la carne.

Macellai d’America e non Macellai Americani. Il vostro Patriottismo a Stelle e Strisce è bellissimo. Il vostro attaccamento alla bandiera giocherà a vostro vantaggio?

Siamo i macellai di America del team USA! Noi rappresentiamo migliaia di macellai in tutto il nostro vasto paese. Abbiamo il dovere di renderli orgogliosi!! SI, siamo molto attaccati ai colori della nostra BANDIERA e, rappresentarla ci fa onore.

Quali caratteristiche deve avere un macellaio per poter entrare a far parte di un TEAM Nazionale e vivere i Mondiali?

Per essere un macellaio membro del nostro team, devi avere le caratteristiche giuste per vivere e lavorare bene nell’ambiente “squadra”, essere in grado di avere una completa competenza e conoscenza del mestiere e, soprattutto, essere in grado di rappresentare in modo rispettoso il nostro mestiere e il nostro paese nella scena mondiale!

Hollywood, San Francico, Golden Gate Bridge e l’Isola di Alcatraz… non solo lavoro, ma un viaggio indimenticabile per i fortunati presenti… una piccola anteprima dello Study Tour?

Hollywood si trova a 400 miglia a sud di Sacramento quindi non sarà possibile andare lì. Vi svelo però un’anteprima: San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley sono sulla lista, così come macellerie locali, negozi, e ranch. Vogliamo riuscire a farvi vivere in pochi giorni la nostra CULTURA AMERICANA.

Cosa mettere in valigia per godersi al meglio il soggiorno in CALIFORNIA?

Non vi dimenticate di portare abbigliamento estivo e crema solare. A Sacramento potrebbe fare molto caldo nel mese di Settembre.

Un saluto ed un invito ai Macellai di tutto il mondo come Capitano e rappresentante di tutto il TEAM USA.

I macellai d’America sono molto orgogliosi di poter ospitare a Sacramento i Butchers di tutto il mondo nel 2020. Tutto il Team, Paolo Carras ed io siamo molto entusiasti di presentarvi il nostro paese natale! Il nostro OBIETTIVO primario sarà quello di voler continuare con lo spirito di amicizia e di condivisione che tutti noi abbiamo lasciato in Irlanda del Nord! Come già ho detto a Belfast: “una squadra vincerà la competizione, ma non ci saranno perdenti!”

Who is Danny Johnson?

Danny Johnson is a husband, Father ,Business Owner , Butcher And Member and team captain of Butchers of America Team USA. His passion for butchery is as strong today as it was 35 years ago when he started in the trade.

“Butchers of America” and not “American Butchers”. Your Stars and Stripes Patriotism is beautiful. Will your attachment to the flag play your advantage?

We are the Butchers of America team USA ! We represent thousands of butchers across our vast country , we hope to make them proud!!

What characteristics must a butcher have to be able to become part of a national TEAM and live the WBC experience?

To be a member of our team A butcher needs to work well in a team environment, be able to have a complete skill set in the craft of butchery and most importantly be able to represent our craft and our country on the world stage in a respectful way! We have  a Tryout process. Auditions will be held in Sacramento on July 30 th 2018.

Hollywood, San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island …. not only work, but an unforgettable journey … a small preview of the study tour?

Hollywood is 400 miles south of Sacramento so we will not be going there, San Francisco ,Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley  are on the list as well as local butchers shops , stores , and Ranches.

What don’t you have to forget in your luggage to enjoy your trip to Sacramento?

Do not forget to bring summertime clothing and suntan lotion as it can be hot in Sacramento in September.

The Butchers of America are proud to be hosting Butchers from around the world in 2020 in Sacramento .Team member Paul Carras  and I are very excited to showcase our hometown! Our team wants to continue the spirit of friendship and sharing we all enjoyed in Belfast! As I said in Belfast one team will win the competition but there will be no losers!
